Jewelry Size Guide — Necklaces, Bracelets & Rings
Use this guide to choose the right fit for necklaces, bracelets, and rings. All measurements are listed in inches unless noted.
Necklace Sizing
True to size: When a chain or pendant necklace is laid flat from end to end, including the clasp, it measures the length you order.
How to find your necklace length
1. Take a string, thin rope, charging cable, or an existing necklace.
2. Place it around your neck so it sits exactly where you want the chain to rest.

3. Mark the meeting point, lay it flat, and measure the length end-to-end with a ruler or tape measure.

General length guide (most necks)
| Length | Typical Placement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 14" | Choker fit | Very close to the neck |
| 16" | Base of neck | Classic short length |
| 18" | Collarbone | Most popular everyday length |
| 20" | Just below collarbone / upper chest | Great for pendants and layering |
Fit varies by height, neck/shoulder size, and pendant drop. Pendants and bails can add ~0.5–1.0" of visual length.

Bracelet Sizing
True to size: Bracelets are measured end-to-end, including the clasp.
How to find your bracelet size
1. Wrap a string or soft tape around your wrist bone where you’ll wear the bracelet.
2. Mark the overlap, lay it flat, and measure to get your wrist circumference.

3. Add comfort allowance:
-
- Snug fit: +0.25–0.5"
- Comfort fit: +0.5–0.75"
- Loose fit / chunky links: +0.75–1.0"

Heavier or thicker link styles may need a little extra length for an easy drape.

Measure your ring size at home
If you’d rather measure now, follow these steps:
1. Cut a strip of paper or string no wider than ½" (1.4 cm).

2. Wrap it around the base of the finger you’ll wear the ring on.

3. Mark where it overlaps to form a full circle.

4. Lay it flat and measure the length to your mark in inches or millimeters (mm).

5. Check the measurement on our Ring Size Conversion Chart and choose the closest U.S. size.
Pro tips for accuracy
- Measure at the end of the day (fingers are slightly larger).
- Avoid measuring when hands are cold.
- If between sizes, most people prefer the slightly larger size.
- Wide bands can feel tighter; consider sizing up ¼–½ size for very wide rings.
